Family Home Health Services

“Let Our Family Care For Your Family”

Corporate Compliance

Family Home Health Services, its management, and associates are committed to conducting all facets of our operations in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and company policies.  In keeping with our seven company core values; Integrity, Dedication, Commitment, Honesty, Respect, Teamwork, and Innovation, Family Home Health Services is committed to providing high-quality health care and services while promoting strong business ethics, lawful behaviors and accountability within the company.

Family Home Health Services has voluntarily implemented a comprehensive Corporate Compliance Program that incorporates formal guidelines, issued by the federal Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General and other industry “best practices”.

Laws relating to healthcare services, billing and collections are complex and an effective Corporate Compliance Program is our way of developing and demonstrating effective internal controls that promote adherence to the applicable Federal and State laws, while at the same time furthering our fundamental mission which is to provide quality care to our patients.

Our Corporate Compliance program serves to:

• Communicate the commitment of management to comply with the laws regulations, standards of care, ethical business practices and workplace standards,

• Promote and monitor compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including regulations governing federal and state healthcare programs, fraud and abuse matters, ethics, privacy and security requirements and corporate governance,

• Ensure that those associated with Family Home Health Services understand their responsibility for complying with these laws and regulations specifically as they relate to the Corporate Compliance Plan, and

• Maintain the company’s status as a good corporate citizen.

Family Home Health Services associates must participate in a corporate compliance training program.  It is the Family Home Health Services associates responsibility to ensure their own ethical and compliant behavior, and that the company is in full regulatory compliance.

If an associate observes or is knowledgeable of a possible unlawful act, they must report the act to the Corporate Compliance Officer immediately.

The Compliance Officer will ensure confidentiality, conduct a thorough investigation, and ensure that any corrections or adjustments are implemented properly and promptly.

For more information, or to review Family Home Health Services Corporate Compliance Plan, please contact the Compliance Officer at the number listed above, or by calling the Corporate Office at 1-(800)-901-3447.

The Corporate Compliance Program is just one of the ways that Family Home Health Services voluntarily chooses to demonstrate that we are very serious about maintaining the quality of services and products we provide and that we deserve the trust of our customers and associates.

Family Home Health Services is deemed status accredited by Accreditation Commission for Healthcare, Inc. demonstrating an increased quality of care and professional standards through compliance with standards set by the accrediting organization.

Accreditation is a means of voluntarily measuring the organizational management, internal processes, patient safety practices and service outcomes against standards of excellence, through compliance with accreditation standards that meet and surpass the requirements of Federal and state laws.
